Pine Lake Manor Home Offices
It was important for the owners of Pine Lake Manor to have comfortable, functional, and beautiful workspaces for their work from home needs. To accommodate their specific tastes and requirements, we settled on two his and hers offices. A main floor office and a second-floor workspace set, steadfast in the center of the second floor. Each office is outfitted with the latest technology and home automation with access to high speed internet.
THE SECOND STORY OFFICE
Entering the second story office doesn’t really feel like entering an office at all. This stunning example of architecture begins with cathedral like ceilings, boasting exposed, white beams curving upwards, highlighting the incredible height of the room. Directly across from entering, they can access a private balcony overlooking all of Pine Lake and the rest of the property. Much like the rest of the house, it was important to the owner that this office feel open, light, and airy. Large windows let in an enormous amount of light, that perfectly fills the space. A wooden chandelier hangs artfully in the quarter sawn white-oak ceiling, casting light on the room below.
CREATING AN INVITING ENVIRONMENT
To ground the space, we installed a custom fireplace, framed in crackled tiles, adding a delicate luminescence to the room, providing the perfect backdrop for a warm fire. The white oak mantel and the marble hearth pair elegance with comfort, creating an understated, but timeless feel. Next to the hearth, a soft, all white armchair sits, inviting and comfortable. Delicate Wickham gray walls compliment the white trim, large windows, and white oak to encourage a calm and focused environment.
Directly across from the fireplace, a built-in custom desk stands, floor to ceiling. Ample white cabinets offer more than enough storage, keeping paperwork out of site. A beverage fridge and coffee maker complete the space, making this the perfect getaway for a productive afternoon well spent.
