Pine Lake Manor Family Guest Bathroom
Perfectly situated between a parents’ room and a kids’ bunk bedroom, this bathroom adds elegance and function to the lower level family getaway area. Adjacent from the game room and great room, this bathroom offers amenities for everyone. A tall, walk-in shower, penny-round heated tile, a custom built-in vanity, and a linen cabinet bring the space together, combining the cool and vibrant blues of the coast with the warm and inviting tones of the rest of the home.

A Custom Walk-In Shower
The most eye-catching feature of this bathroom has to be the blue, textured tile imported from Spain. The varying tones of blue, from a lighter teal to a deep navy reflect the beauty of the sea. It’s high-gloss finish catches the light and adds depth to the shower space while the speckled edging of the tile adds both character and dimension. We used grey grouting to pull the ivory and sand colored penny tile together with the stand-out Spanish tile.
Built-In Features and Stunning Fixtures
In order to balance beauty with function, we added a built-in shower bench and topped it with the same quartz top as the vanity and other counters throughout the home. A subtle, edged shelf surrounds the side wall opposite the built-in, two-tiered shelf on the other. With enough height and depth for many types of shower and bath products, each shelf is made of quartz to match the bench. Separate controls operate a rainfall showerhead and a handheld sprayer to create a comfortable and luxurious shower experience.
Custom Carpentry to Complete the Space
In order to create a cohesive experience, we created a custom built-in vanity to match other bathrooms in Pine Lake Manor. Made of white oak, this vanity features soft-close drawers, cabinets, and a quartz countertop. The vintage-style sink fixtures pair well with the showerheads and are set off nicely by mounted mirror and a pair of sconces. This bathroom is the perfect getaway to reset and relax.
